Ways to Get Motivated to Work Out

Research says that 50% of gym starters quit within the first 6 months, here are two tips to keep you motivated to get more exercise.
1. Use The 10-Minute Rule
If you're really struggling to get started, tell yourself you only have to do five or 10 minutes. Even a little bit of movement is better than none. Over time, it will become easier to keep exercising longer.
2. Plan Ahead
Whether you design your exercise routine yourself or enlist in a coach (or app) to support you, it can help you stay accountable when motivation is waning. A plan will also take into account your individual needs to ensure it's realistic for you. As long as you stick to it!
