The Day of the Dead is a holiday traditionally celebrated on November 1 and 2. The multi-day holiday involves family and friends gathering to pay respects and remember friends and family members who have died. Here are some ways to honor your lost loved ones at home:

• Create an ofrenda (altar): Set up a home altar to honor deceased loved ones, decorating it with photos, candles, marigolds, and their favorite foods.
• Share memories:  Gather with family to share stories and fond memories of those who have passed.
• Visit a cemetery: Visit the graves of your loved ones to decorate them and spend time with them.
• Pan de muerto (bread of the dead): Bake or buy traditional "bread of the dead" to share with family and friends. Here is a traditional recipe for Pan de Muerto: https://www.latinofoodie.com/featured-blog-posts/pan-de-muerto-recipe/#mv-creation-25-jtr
