Here is a delicious and healthy recipe to try instead of the high sodium green bean casserole side with your Thanksgiving dinner: Mushroom and Chile-Garlic Green Beans

This simple side involves an easy two-step process: Just roast the mushrooms, then toss them in melted chile-garlic butter and blanched green beans.

Ingredients
1 lb. mixed wild mushrooms, trimmed
1 tbsp. olive oil
Kosher salt and pepper
4 tbsp. unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1 red chile, thinly sliced
1 lb. green beans, blanched

Directions
Step 1: Heat oven to 450°F. On rimmed baking sheet, toss mushrooms with oil and 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper and roast until golden brown and tender, about 25 minutes.
Step 2: Melt butter with garlic and chile on low, then cook until golden brown, 10 minutes. Toss beans with garlic butter and mushrooms.
