The perfect autumn spiced smoothie

While fall is the time when everyone is clamoring for pumpkin spice coffee and additives, we would like to re-introduce you to another great fall flavor–apple. Not only nutritious, but apples also help us feel full longer and offers natural sweetness to almost anything it is added to. Here’s a great way to start your apple a day habit:
Healthy Apple Smoothie
Ingredients
1 medium apple, peeled and cored (Gala, Fiji or Honey-crisp will work best here)
¼ cup rolled oats (avoid steel cut oats for this recipe as they are harder to process in the blender)
1 tbsp. almond butter or other nut butter
¼ tsp. cinnamon
½ cup oat milk
Instructions
First, core and slice your apple. You might want to remove the skin, but that's up to you. Then, add all the ingredients to a blender and cover it with the lid.
Process the smoothie on high until the chunks of fruit are gone and it's smooth. Pour it into a glass and enjoy promptly.
