Whether you are on a low-carb diet or simply trying to better balance your meals, protein is the answer. Having a protein source at every meal is a great way to help you build muscle, regulate blood sugar levels and keep you feeling fuller longer.
Of course, not all proteins are created equal. Dieticians suggest non-processed protein sources like eggs, chicken, turkey, fish and yogurt.If dietary preferences prevent you from these protein-rich foods, you can always add a protein powder into your oatmeal, yogurt, or smoothie.
