Keeping a lid on calories at Thanksgiving

Keeping a lid on calories at Thanksgiving

23 Nov 2022 by Ted Escobedo   1 min read
For many of us counting calories, our diet doesn’t take a holiday. But that doesn’t mean that you must deny yourself of everything at Thanksgiving Dinner. Diet experts recommend trimming out the very high calorie extras like gravy, or simply take a small portion. But you can take larger portions of the healthier foods such as baked sweet potatoes, steamed vegetables, and skinless white meat of turkey. Experts also recommend limiting yourself to one plate of food, no second helpings.
