The mid-holiday diet cleanse

The mid-holiday diet cleanse

01 Dec 2021 by Ted Escobedo   1 min read

The holidays are usually a fat heavy, sugar heavy, cheese heavy, kind of time, and this cleanse is designed to give your body a break from these indulgences. The focus of the cleanse is to eat clean, unprocessed foods, avoid sugar, and look to add more healthy fats, fiber, and nutrients to your diet. The other key is to lessen the amount of food you eat. Cutting down to 80% of what you would normally eat will leave more energy for digestion. It is recommended that 1-3 days a week of sticking to this cleanse would be great. At a minimum, once a week, would be beneficial say experts. But if it sounds too ‘grinchy’ for Christmas time, just eating more greens and drinking more water will have positive results.'
