Amid all the stress, distractions and pressure of everyday life taking just a 60 second break can serve to reset your brain, experts say. They key is to focus on one thing and one thing only for one full minute. It can be your breathing, a noise that you can home in on or an image that you can get lost in – just stay with it for sixty seconds. What you will find is that after that minute, you will slow yourself down and feel more grounded. It also helps to silence the mind that tends to throw random thoughts and fears into almost every situation. Taking a minute just for you will prove to be time very well spent.
