Gratitude is the attitude - write that down

It has been well documented that exhibiting gratitude is closely associated with a greater sense of happiness and well-being. Science tells us that counting our blessings increases our optimism, relieves depression, improves immune function, and lowers blood pressure. It also strengthens our relationships with those around us.
Many therapists, life coaches and counselors recommend keeping a gratitude journal. By writing down exactly for whom and for what you are grateful will help keep you in a meditative state of gratitude -and it is easier to call back up when you feel you may need to be reminded most.
