Fake it till you make it

While we all struggle to be as authentic to our own nature as possible, putting on a happy face--even if you don’t really feel happy can help. Experts say that simply acting happy can actually induce happiness. Here are a few ways to do it: laugh out loud at the TV, smile in the mirror, completely savor your next snack. Before long, your ‘fake’ smile will naturally become an authentic one.
