It’s summer and now is the time to start a family fitness plan. Experts agree that the best way to achieve fitness goals for the whole family is to make them together, commit to them together, and do them together. Here’s a four-step plan:
Step 1: Call a family meeting to set your group and individual goals. Document them on paper.
Step 2: As part of the plan, schedule at least two exercises you can all do together: walking, biking, etc.
Step 3: Plan some family meals together that support your goals.
Step 4: Check in with each other once a week and document your progress.
