Spring cleaning is a great way to get a little exercise according to fitathletic.com
While it may not replace an everyday workout, you can substitute one physical chore for one of your work outs a week. In a few weeks you will have broken out of your old exercise routine, tackled a number of chores and have a cleaner house!
Here's a tip: Start with your windows. An hour of window washing will rid you of about 214 calories. Spend the next hour cleaning out a closet, unpacking some boxes and occasionally lifting with moderate effort, for another 250 calories and a grand total of 464 calories in two hours.
