In today’s super connected world, we often tend to ignore opportunities to spend time alone. Research shows that a little alone time can go a long way in charging your batteries, boosting creativity and easing stress. The key: Make a date with yourself. Choose a day and time and make the commitment to spend some with yourself.Keep your phone put away. Checking it not only defeats the purpose of alone time, but you'll likely eye a status update that makes you feel lonely and left out. Incorporating alone time into your life will help you let go of the ‘Fear of Missing Out (FOMO)’ and embrace the JOMO – Joy of missing out!
