If you spend any time at all with small children, you quickly realize that they are focused on a singular goal: having fun. As we grow older, we seem to place fun lower on the priority list. Studies have shown that eight-year-old children who exhibited exceptional creative ability (in the 98 percentile) tested much lower as adults 30 years old adults. (15 percentile.) So today, we encourage you to rediscover that person you were at eight years old. Try to remember what fascinated you at that age. Was it dinosaurs? Barbie? Butterflies or army men? Whatever it was, spend some time remembering those days. And, if you are feeling exceptionally child-like – make them part of your adult life.
