Plan family fun weekend events

Plan family fun weekend events

Everyone knows that there are more things to do in El Paso during the months of October and November than any other time of year. The temperatures are cooler but not cold in the mornings and the afternoons are warm but not too hot. That makes getting outdoors for some family time and physical activity a perfect way to spend the weekends. Here are some ideas that will get your blood pumping and your family moving:

  • Visit a corn maze – you’ll get a long walk in before you realize it. (especially if you get lost!)
  • Check out a pumpkin patch-lots of area patches have activities for the kids and fun ways to burn off calories. Remember to lift that prize pumpkin with your legs!
  • Hiking is always a great time in the many trails around our mountains
  • Walk downtown El Paso and rediscover the old and new downtown.
  • Find a farmer’s market. Believe it or not, you will walk around for about an hour and not even feel it!
