On June 24 many Christians all over the world celebrate the Day of Saint John the Baptist. Other cultures welcome the day as the official beginning of the monsoon season and pray for abundant rain. Here on the border of El Paso and Juarez, many revelers not only attend services at their churches, but they douse each other with water to symbolize the baptism ritual. Today, on inspire Friday, we think it would be great fun to load up on water balloons and surprise your loved ones with a wet blessing. (If anything, it would be a welcome break from the El Paso heat!)
