Plan a digital-detox day

COVID updates and other topics currently in the news are upsetting. While staying informed is important, it does not mean we have to be attached to our phones for hours on end engaged in what others think as well. Consider taking a day to restore your emotional health by planning a day without social media. Social media, for all of its benefits can have some negative effects on our emotional health. Studies show that social media increases stress levels, deprives us of sleep and can even contribute to a feeling of isolation.
