As Halloween candy season approaches, dentists everywhere remind us to make sure our kids brush and floss regularly. Here is a natural way to freshen your breath and clean your teeth: Have a crunchy snack, such as an apple, celery, or carrot. These fruits and vegetables act as natural toothbrushes and help to remove the odor-causing bacteria stuck on your teeth. They also stimulate saliva production, which also helps fight bad breath.
