Of the many benefits of gardening, the psychological effect may often be overlooked. Gardening can be a metaphor for life, the things we can control, the things we can’t and learning to be okay either way. Acceptance in the garden or elsewhere doesn't mean giving up, of course. We bring our best efforts to what we can control, and we let go of the rest. Your garden (like your life) is in bigger hands than yours.”
