Herbal cures for summer allergies

It’s no surprise that pollen, mold and insect stings are common allergy culprits during the summer months. Many allergy sufferers find relief with herbal remedies. Butterbur is an herb, which comes from a European shrub and has shown potential for relieving seasonal allergy symptoms, acting similar to antihistamines. Quercetin is a nutrient found in onions, apples, and black tea that research has shown to block the release of histamines. Both are available at vitamin stores and online. As with most herbal supplements, it may be best to tell your doctor before you begin to take them.
