Franklin Mountains State Park Halloween Fest

Enjoy outdoor Halloween fun, learn about creepy crawlies, and make your own coffin pie at the Franklin State Park Halloween Fest. There will be a kickoff at 10:00 am with a decorated bike parade beginning at the Tom Mays Visitor Center and going up the park road and back in about a 2-mile loop. To learn more about the amazing "creepy" critters in the park, check out the booths and presentations 10am to 2pm. Join the Coffin Pie making class at noon to make a yummy memento mori snack. Registration is required for this event. To sign up, call the park at (915) 444- 9121.Vote for your favorite carved pumpkin between 10:00am and 1:30pm; winners will be announced at 2:00 pm.
