Fall for fitness

Fall for fitness

22 Sep 2020 by Ted Escobedo   2 min read

While we still have a few more weeks before leaves begin to fall, it’s never too early to think about how you can take advantage of the cooler temperatures to get some exercise. To that end, here are two ideas:

Yardwork

Fall is the perfect time to try your hand at yard work. It's a great way to get chores done around the house while simultaneously getting in a great workout. For example, raking and sacking leaves provides great cardiovascular exercise complete with squats, lifts, curls, and more.

Backyard Football

Now that the yard is cleaned up, why not continue your outdoor workout with a fun game of backyard football? Grab everyone in the household and team up. You would be amazed how it gets your blood pumping when you run a couple of plays. Even if you are only two, you can still practice your long passes.
