El Paso reopens aquatic centers

Many fitness experts espouse the incredible benefits of swimming as an aerobic workout because it causes less stress to your knees and other joints. If you are lucky enough to have your own pool, the pandemic did not interrupt your ability to dive in. But for over one year, our local public aquatic centers have been closed.
As of May 1, the City of El Paso have reopened some of our city’s aquatic centers. Indoor pools will be open from 6 to 11 a.m. and 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. Outdoor pool hours will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and from noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Anyone up for a game of ‘Marco Polo?’
