Remember to drink water over the holidays

The holiday season usually involves festive but high-calorie food and drink. Here’s a tip to help curb your cravings and help you be a ‘good’ boy or girl: Make sure to drink plenty of water.

Water is going to naturally help you avoid overeating. By drinking a large glass of water 20-30 minutes prior to having a large dinner it will keep you full, hydrated and help you burn fat more efficiently. An optimal level of water per day - as stated by the National Institute of Health - is 1/2 to 1 gallon a day. Add one extra glass (8oz) of water per every 10 lbs. overweight too!
